An electric vehicles (EV) runs on an electric motor rather than an internal combustion engine that generates energy by burning a mixture of fuel and gases.
There are four types of electric vehicles offered:
- Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV):
- Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV)
- Electric vehicles with battery (EVB)
- Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle(PHEV)
Hybrid electric vehicle (HEV):
HEVs are also known as serial hybrids or parallel hybrids. Heavy duty vehicles have both motors and electric motors. The engine gets energy from the fuel and receives electricity from the batteries. The transmission is rotated simultaneously by the motor and the electric motor. It then moves the wheels.
Electric Vehicles for Fuel Cell (FCEV):

Battery with Electric cars (BEV)
BEVs are also known as fully electric vehicles (EVs). Electric cars using BEV technology operate entirely with a battery-powered electric transmission. The electricity used to drive the vehicle remains stored in a large battery that can charge by connecting it to the power grid. The electric battery pack provides power to one or more electric motors to run the electric car.
Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV)
PHEVs are also known as serial hybrids. They’ve got engine and engine. You can choose between fuels, conventional fuels (such as gasoline) or alternative fuels (such as bio-diesel). A rechargeable battery can also power it. The battery can charge externally.
Profits of Electric Vehicles

Low maintenance cost: Electric vehicles have meagre maintenance costs because they don’t have as many moving parts as an internal combustion vehicle. EV maintenance requirements are lower than conventional petrol or diesel vehicles. Therefore, the annual cost of driving an electric vehicle is meaningfully short.

The use of gasoline and diesel is destroying our planet

All-electric vehicles have zero exhaust emissions, but gasoline or diesel vehicles emit nearly three times more carbon dioxide than the average EV, even when electricity production remains.
Electric vehicles are informal to drive and quiet
EV have no gears and are very comfortable to drive. There are no complicated controls. Just accelerate, brake and drive. To charge your vehicle, connect it to a home or public charger. EVs are also quiet, reducing the noise pollution that traditional vehicles contribute.
There is no noise pollution
EV can operate in silence because no engine is under the hood. No engine, no noise. The electric motor runs so quietly that you must look at your dashboard to see if it’s on. EV are so quiet that manufacturers must add fake sounds to make them safe for pedestrians.
The convenience of charging at home
Imagine being in a busy gas station during peak hours and being late for your workplace. These problems can remain easily solved with an electric vehicle. Plug your car into your home charger for 4-5 hours before you plan to go. If you can get a charger where you park at home, it is very convenient to plan your trips.
The progress that the electric vehicles industry has seen in recent years is not only very welcome but much needed in light of the increasing demand.
